Forum member, don't kick my *** - solder question

My idiot lights blink on and off occasionally, and I know about the cold solder joint problem, but what exactly do you have to re-solder?

Maybe you need to troubleshoot your charging system, or the alt warning light relay circuit (CPU), before you start sniffing flux fumes

Keep an eye on your alt voltage while driving, by whatever means you can rig up...

Could be either the CPU, or the Alt, or the warning light panel.

What is your voltage when this is happening???

And please do not use Forum members names in titles, it is against forum rules... If you want individual help, then PM the person

Just re-solder the area at the spade connectors where the wiring harness plugs are.

Make sure the white connecter on top of the Alternator is plugged in all the way. Mine wasn't and it blinked for a long time until i realized what was causing it.

Not everyone reads the rules...

and you didn't answer my question... what is the voltage when this is happening??? It will narrow down where your problem is.
