fmic options

ok guys i want to put a fmic on the 7 and i was thinking about getting this intercooler i was thinking of running only like 10-12 psi on my fc i have an intake and turbo back exhaust and i am going to put in the 720cc (as soon as it stops raining in the north east) and send the ecu out for rtec 1.7 so i was thinking about putting a front mount what do you think? not looking to spend a whole lot of money on a fmic (wife wants us to get a house first..lol) let me know what you think?

wouldn't spend a lot of money on it.....if it were free I'd go for it but other than that I'd get a ebay intercooler

If thats like an intercooler from a Volvo, I think I have heard about those falling apart on our cars when we run over 10 psi...just what I heard, not a definate fact.

that is what i wanted to know if that is a rumor then i will stay away from it because it is from a volvo

and you say the ebay ones are good for some reason i don't see that to be good, the most i will spend right now is maybe like 150 or so because i have to spend money on the piping any good used ones out there that anyone can think of?

didn't say they were good sayin it maybe a better option they are cheap + you can get piping for like 50-60 bucks and couplers for 35 and if weld it youself.

is the stock FD intercooler a fmic? and is that any good and is that easy to find? (so far i can't find anything)

My opinion ...after going custom with the right parts aside from the Ebay core ...buy the GReddy kit. You'll spend probably near or over the price of one less quality.

Only reason to go custom is for fun, a challenge, or you want to run the most direct piping.
