Hey guys, I have finally received my fmic with universal piping, and finally on my way to install. So now, I am setting up the fmic, and taking off the front bumper. But as I was under the car unbolting the front bumper, under the passenger side headlight, there is a big black can there. Is this important? Can I remove it? I need it out of the way definitely to put my piping through. Or any thoughts about it?

 

see where the lines run too, it would be best to keep it if you dont know what it is and just move it to the side

 

It's just the air silencer. You can remove it and plug the lines that it feeds to, the airpump IIRC.
