FMIC help

I'm looking for some help, preferably a picture how people have secured their FMIC to the car. The kit I have is from rx7store.com There are some brackets provided but I am not sure how or where these brackets attach to. No Instructions are provided with the kit
Thanks

That's the problem with these chinese knockoff kits...their brackets are different from the real kit and they provide zero instructions, so you pretty much have to guess and figure it out for yourself. That's what happens when you compromise to save money.

I would be asking rx7store to provide some help for you, since obviously they install what they sell at times, they should be able to help.

when i installed a i/c on my 1985 300zx turbo i rempved the bumper and set up all the piping make sure everything fits and does not rub. then start assembing the pipes. when you get close to the intercooler line everything up and mark/ figure out how you are going to mount it to the body. all i had was 2 bolts holding it on. either drill a hole and run a bolt with a nut to tighten it to the frame or tap a hole for the bracket.]]

its not hard, just piece it together and figure it out.

if it is a greddy knock off once you put it up on the car it will become very obvious

for reference here is where the original greddy mounts, the angle brackets allow it to bolt up under the car- not sure what the copies are doing

most of those cheap companies will come with crappy brackets anyways. I would consider just buying some metal stock and bending and drilling your own mounting if the brackets are real cheesey. Or if it's thick enough metal, I would consider redrilling or rebending them if you can figure a better or more secure way to mount it

Ok, so I have the Kit figured out...I think. I have used up all the brackets. To get the front mount in place, I need to drill out a couple of the rusty bolts that snapped first. I'll also take some pics for reference when it's all bolted up. Also maybe if you would like to take some pics of the holes you make under the headlights, barkz. I'll do the same. It would be nice to have some info for anyone doing this in the future.
