Fmic Help!!!

Ok so I want to go FMIC. I need help on what to do with it. Like the measurements of the pipes and stuff. And also the measurements of the intercooler itself. I don't want to spend like $1000 on a greddy kit either. I'm not cheap, I want quality but I'm also in highschool smiltaniously attending college and don't exactly have alot of cash either... Most of my money went to my books. Though tuition is free!!! Ok so yeah someone help me please!!! I really apreciate it.

get out a measuring tape, decide where you want the front mount to fit, what all you want to cut to make it fit, measure where you want it to be, go to ebay, find an intercooler that size, get a universal piping kit, cut and clamp until it all fits!

Yeah, determine what size is good for you first. I'd suggest going with one that doesn't require significant cutting of the bumper to fit, if you want simplicity.

Fc turbo with fmic + parked outside in the dorm = stolen/break-in's. Do yourself a favor if you are a broke college kid. Don't try and mod out the most expensive import car there is for hp per dollar and I won't even get into repair costs and gas mileage. Its hard but its the truth.

It's hard to tell you what you will need in your custom installation without actually being at the car to measure it.

For example, what intercooler are you going with? That will determine how you run your pipes. Out under the headlights? Through the rad supports? Under the power steering pump and A/C compressor?

You'll have to find an intercooler that will fit, then get a generic pipe kit and start there.

Or buy one of the "bolt on" kits.
