Exclamation Flywheel wobbles during install process

I'm thinking something is wrong here...
I am mounting my flywheel and once I get it on as far as it can go, it has a wobble to it. Maybe 1mm side to side at most. Small, but noticeable. It's a stock TII flywheel and the key is in. I checked the shaft area and the flywheel, no debri or anything like that is in the way. Does tightening the nut push the flywheel back more and really secure things? I don't want this thing turning my car into an earthquake.

The nut should be tightened to some 300ft/lbs. I bet it will move the flywheel back a bit and stop the wobble.

the flywheel is taper fit, meaning once it bottoms out it shouldn't wobble. hope you don't have it backwards

I see the e-shaft is tapered. I definitely don't have it on backwards, is that even possible?

The nut tightens to 350lbs/ft. Obviously when it's on, the flywheel won't move, but it could still be off center.

Any other theories?

here is the dealy yo. Im willing to bet that the ring gear that goes all the way around the flywheel have been PULLED when someone pulled the flywheel off before. Those teeth around the flywheel can be moved/pulled off. i have seen it before:-) i just tapped mine back in place take a hammer to the teeth and LIGHTLY tap it back down. Let me know what happens via PM please

Hmm OK. I just ran out to the garage because it was irking me.
I put the nut on, tightened it using a big 1/2" drive. Not the 350lb/ft required, but enough just to see if it would put the fly wheel in place. I took the nut off and it seems the flywheel is in place now, no wobble at all. I guess tightening the nut really gets the flywheel on proper.

Thanks!

Too bad it's raining. My engine is crammed in the corner of my friends garage behind his Harley and giant riding mower. Can't move anything outside. Will have to wait for next weekend to put the engine in...
