flywheel question

ok how the hell do i get they flywheel off without using one of those special tools? ive tried the pounding and prying off but it doesnt want to budge. i need to get it apart so i can check the internals so i know if i should just get a jspec and part out the longblock i have. or how much are the pullers?

Leave the flywheel nut partly threaded on so that when you bang out the flywheel, it doesn't drop on your foot.
