flywheel question

ok how the hell do i get they flywheel off without using one of those special tools? ive tried the pounding and prying off but it doesnt want to budge. i need to get it apart so i can check the internals so i know if i should just get a jspec and part out the longblock i have. or how much are the pullers?

just a hammer and a wedge type thing and start banging the shit out of it

Leave the flywheel nut partly threaded on so that when you bang out the flywheel, it doesn't drop on your foot. :D
