Craftsman 2 1/8th socket

About $25. And another $6-7 for the 1/2th --> 3/4th adaptor.

Edit, oops, you said impact socket. Not too sure about that. How'd you break the old socket? That must be one stubborn flywheel nut and a powerful impact gun.

There is no way a 3/4th in 54mm socket broke that thing is very strong.

I tryd a 3/4th braker bar onto a 4ft pole and no luck getting it off. Switched to my 600ft lb inpacket gun burped it on there in 5 seconds it came off.

Gotta love the racing beat superwrench lol
I used it and it took me about 20 seconds. Just stuck it on and jumped on it, came right off. That thing is worth the money, especially since it costs less than the secket and 3/4 drive at sears....

Just bang on it with a rubber mallet (or dead-blow hammer) all the way around the outside (not on the ring gear) and it should come off. Just make sure to have the nut on a little bit.
