flywheel nut Q

if I use a torch to heat it..do i try gettin it off while its still hot...or wait till cool?

feel free to flam eme for the dumb question..but dont wanna mess the nut or eshaft up

while it's still hot, use an impact gun to get that nut off.

I bough tthe big ol flywheel tool from racing beat..no air tools or poor kids..btu le tme tell you the RB tool is badass...id wal kinto battel with that thing (smash some heads)

I wouldn't use a torch. Not necessary. Just stabilize the flywheel and go to it with a long handled tool. If the RB isn't long enough, add a pipe onto the end.

I spent like $12 and rented a 3/4 " electric impact for four hours. That nut came off with three or four clacks. My 1/2 " drive air gun turned all the way up with a full tank of air could not move it at all.

I stood on the engine while my dad used a 3.5 foot breaker bar on a 3/4" slide bar connected to the socket.

Mine was real easy to come off, I had Chuck Norris come and look at it, and it just came off.
