flywheel bolt help

where do i find a socket for this thing..i looked every where today sears autozone advance and oreillys and no one has even heard of a socket that big..i am sorry if i didnt search but i am in need of an answer soon..

sears shoudl have a 2 1/8" socket thats 3/4" drive and an adaptor from 1/2" to 3/4" drive so you can run it. n a half inch drive impact gun.

Thats what i thought but my friends work at sears and thay looked and didnt find one any where in the store..

take it to a machine shop im shure they have the right socket for it, and im shure they can do it for free. a 2 1/4" also works to get the bolt off

i'd so buy one if i had the money..working on a tight tight budget i wanted to rent one at a store to be able to take it back and get my money back..

I just got one from sears for about 30 bucks, and i got the 1/2 in to 3/4 adapter and it came right off with my impact gun

First, it's not a flywheel "bolt", it's a flywheel "nut".

Second, I assume you have read the FAQ? This is well covered already.

Third, just go to a real tool store. Grab the Yellow Pages and look up "tools".
