Flushing power steering system.

My pump went bad, after I changed it and filled it with PS fluid it was making weird noises. After consulting the book I found it take ATF (Dexron 2) instead of power steering fluid. The next problem was getting the PS fluid out. The FSM says take the pressure hose off underneath, good luck on that one. I pulled the pressure line (the larger of the 2) off the pump jury rigged a hose to fit in it's place, held it down tight and had someone crank the car (with 2 inboard fuses pulled from main block to prevent starting). The crap that came out of there was really nasty. I put it back together, filled it cranked up, circulated and repeated the draining process 2 more times before you could tell the fluid was red. If you have power steering you may want to change your fluid. It works great now though.
