flushing coolant
When flushing your coolant do you need to open up the air bleeder by the radiator, because mine is stripped clean.
Also, when my car is warmed up, the radiator is still cool, could it just be a clogged radiator or something else.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
To fush the system,. not really. TO refill it properly, then year. I take a dremel tool or something similar and cut a large flat groove in the plug thats sttripped, then you can use a large flat to get it out. Or drill a hole in it and use a easy out...its only plastic you know. Be sure you get another one in hand first. ITs the same as the drainplug from underneath too.
Sounds like if your upper hose or radiator isnt warming up you hav a bad thermostat.
I usually start the car, and open the drain plug. Let most all of it run out, then replace the plug and fill with a garden hose. All the water will be clear at this point. When you see some green circulating around(meaning the motor is warming up and thermostat open, coolant from inside is flowing out now) then repeat. I usually do this for 15 minutes or so until everything is clear coming out of the drain plug.
Might wanna replace that thermostat with a new mazda unit though.
