Flushing the car out....

putting new coolant in.

I found one of the plugs... where the hell is the other? I know there's like two plugs so the coolant and such can come out... No7Yet mentioned to me that it's down below on the driver's side... but I can't find it?

If anyone knows what I'm talking to.. please let me know! I needa put the new coolant in (yes green....) before it gets cold here. I have very little coolant and alot more water.... don't want to freeze anything...

anyway, thanks.

The engine drain plug is what you're looking for.

It's inside the motor mount on the driver's side. Inside the motor mount you'll see 3 normal bolt heads (these are for the mount) and one funky octogonal (or whatever it is)-shaped one. Find a wrench to match it 14mm or 17mm and yank it. Out comes your coolant! Wipe the plug clean, put it back in, tighten and add fresh coolant!

Ohh, thanks.

Too bad I gotta flush it a few times. I had the "orange" coolant in there for a few months....

don't forget to use distilled water when you refill your coolant mix

For those of you that insist an adding water to hasten the onset of corrosion in your cooling system, use distilled water will minimze the introduction of minerals into the cooling system.

To avoid this use EVANS NPG+, no water in system, no corrosion: SIMPLE
