I don't really like the pop up lights, either. Its not the styling that bothers me, its just how they work. Anyway, most any kit to get rid of them isn't going to be cheap. I remember seeing a link to one that was just fiberglass inserts that you put lights in to replace the pop-ups and they were only 3 or 4 hundred.
Just curious, but how did you make those? Do you have a writeup or something?
And that search comes up with nothing, btw.

I'm not a big fan of either the stock popups or most of the flush mounted headlights I've seen. My favorite is the low profile popups. They only come up about 3-4", meaning a headlight cover intake will still work, and will still be somewhat effective with the lights up. The FTP should still work about the same as well. I also thinks it looks the best. For some reason sleek headlihgts just look a little out of place on the FC's IMHO, but those are a very nice example.
ummmm.....those vents are non funtional......whether the headlights are down all the way or partially....and the FTPs are useless as an intake......I never knew air could pass through metal.
and If they made headlight kits like the FD's for OUR cars it'd be cool.....otherwise the pop-ups are classic 80s style.

Check this site out: http://rx7pro.com/catalog.0.html1.0.html. I'm planning on getting these lights.
eastbears are ugly as hell and expensive. I sell my kit for half of the price and they are truly flush. There is no space at al behind the radiator support so there is some sacrifice.

I own Chris' old FC and he PERSONALLY installed his lights on that car - they DO NOT fit worth a flying whoop and could have been better engineered by a retarded monkey with downsyndrome and no hands.
the lights i made are a combination of the stock lights and a kit made for a 3rd gen they took a very long time to make but im very happy with the results..and i agree they dont look good on a stock fc i didnt like how they looked with the stock body but now that i have my gp sports bodykit on they look very nice and i always get complements and everyone wants me to make them a set
Dltreezans head light kits are for sale, That white fc had a bit of a fender bender on the road course but the lights looked like they fit great before the mishap. I am having him make me a set of lights, the pop up lights are heavy as hell anyways,
