Flush mount drag style wing
Anybody make one for the FC? I did a search a while back and didn't really find anything on it. Forgot about posting about it till now. I'm not really sure what the proper name is for them, I can see it in my head but can't name it. Ducktail maybe? Not a lip spoiler, longer than that. I'll see if I can find a pic of what I'm thinking of somewhere. I don't want an aluminum one though, looking for a 'glass or composite wing I can paint to match.

duckbill is the lip spoiler, and actually works to reduce drag. you might be thinking of a whale tail spoiler by the picture you posted, and from what I gather most people here hate those with such a burning passion that it may be hard for you to find one here. but they do exist, and even if they don't, where there's a will, there's a way.

For the kind of power that you can make with these cars it'll only slow you down. The need for traction lessens as speed increases, the downforce and drag of a wing increases as speeds increase. So it does nothing when you need it most (launch) and only hurts you when you need it least (top end).
Done right at a shallow angle a spoiler can help reduce drag, but a wing will increase drag.

And just to clarify, I'm really just want this type of wing for the look, not because I want mad tyte downforcez at 150 or anything like that Although I'll take any reduction of drag I can get at any speed Maybe I'll search for duckbills and see what I come up with.

Well no wonder I couldn't find it on search, it's in the Audio/Visual section
https://www.rx7club.com/rx-7-audio-visual-lounge-143/wanted-duckbill-style-spoiler-655310/
That's close, looks like a Mazda wing, well says Mazda right on it. I can't really tell how good it looks w/ the angle the pics were taken at, looks okay in some and not so good in others. Maybe I'm just too picky
I'm finding mentions of an R-Magic duckbill on Google, but no pics. FDNewbie site comes up in the search but says 404 when you click it I'm sure it's a pretty rare hard to get piece, but does anyone have a pic of it?

Ooh, I like that one a lot. Still to see the R-Magic though. I'd like to find one that extends out just a bit more.
Yeah I know, I'm being nitpicky. But, I have a certain look I'm wanting, and it's hard to translate into words. That GP wing is pretty nice though, it's definitely a contender if I can't find the exact look I'm looking for.
