Fluids Question...
whats up everyone.... i had redline mt90 trans fluid in my 87 n/a and blew the transmission.. this fluid was amazing, it is the reason my tranny lasted nearly as long as it did.. i was just wondering if there are any other products that you guys recomend.. Is there any other fluids, anything better than redline? does redline make any different fluids??? my new tranny is going to be put in a little while (mazda rebuild) and i would like to start off with a really nice fluid... thanks

I actually have been shifting all my cars away from MT90 and over to the Redline super light weight shock proof.
The Redline MT-90 is a GL-4 rated oil.
According to Redline, the super light shock proof is the equivalent to a GL-5 (which is what Mazda suggests in the manual tranny and rear end). The super light shock proof is a 75W90, that flows like a ATF. Typically dyno tests have shown a 1- 2% HP increase/return when swapping over as well.
