Floooding problems!
My engine floods every time i try to start it!
Why?
I have removed my ACV and i dont got any Boost pressure sensor(do i need it?)
If i need it, can i take the A.T.P and use it as a boost pressure sensor?
Does the ECU set up a default ATP value?

Where did your boost sensor go? Was it ever on the car? You may have some aftermarket setup installed somewhere else...
Check your compression for the flooding problems, it may be getting close to rebuild time...
The ATP does look remarkably like the boost sensor, and even has the same +12vdc input as the boost sensor (on the S4's), but I don't know if the sending unit inside of it would be the same.
The only way to tell for sure would be to install it as a boost sensor and run some voltage checks on it at the ECU, and make sure they're in line with FSM expectations...
If you're close to sea level, you don't really need the ATP's input anyway, because without its signal the ECU will default to sea level pressures...
If it does work as a boost sensor, though, I'd get a replacement for the ATP then...

Hmm okey.. The engine has run 75000km.. so i dont think it is close to rebuild time .. hmm
My boost sensor is just not there :P Removed by previouse owner when he had a 20b engine i belive.. I heard something about a resistance in the boost pressure sensor hose.. is it true? if not, i think ill try using the ATP.. I`m close to sea level..

I got it runnin again.. But it is very hard to start, it floods... And when it runs the water temp sensor dont work and all the warning lights glow.. I friend connected the + and - wrong to the batteri and it came smoke from the alternator.. Is the hole thing fried? And if the alternator is fried, then the warninglighst never stop glowing?
But again, i got it runnin, and rev it up to 4000 (i cant step the gas to the floor, then it dies) and it dies over 4000.. Is this because of the booost sensor?

OK, if the warning lights stay on when she's running, then the alternator is kaput. You'll need to get that fixed first, and make sure the battery is good (holds a charge) before we get back into this "missing boost sensor" thing...
So, am I to understand that the wiring and connector for the boost sensor is there where it's supposed to be? Front of the right strut tower, behind the airbox area?

tap a boost sensor into a vacuum line somewhere, preferably by making a new port in the ACV block off plate. check your fuses, the main 80 amp fuse is what controls charging so if it is blown then replace it and it may cure most of your problems, if it isn't then you need a new alternator and may still have some other wiring issues as well.

heh okey, I fixed the wiring problem.. My alternator was dead! But still it floods (and i still aint got the pressure sensor).. Can it be the injectors? THrottle sensor? Tried lower my fuel pressure.. didnt help!
