Flooding question

Hey guys, I got a 86 GXL with a v8 partially swapped into it, but ive lost interest in the project and would like to return to rotary power (possibly with the purchase of a t2). One thing I was wondering after reading some threads: how long does it take for the car to reach normal operating temperature (with ambient temperature say 60 deg as a good average here in cincy)? The reason I ask is to know how long id have to set a turbo timer for in case I need to make one of these 'short hops'. THanks, and expect more noobie questions in the future

How is your switch wired? to the signal wire? That sounds like a much better idea

another noob question, is the s4 motor vastly different than the s5 in terms of internal strength (obviously difference in compression ratio), turbo and IC efficiency, etc? I would have searched but s4 and s5 are too short to search for and I didnt konw what else to look under.
