flooding issue

flooding issue

ive got a s4 na with stock injectors and still has the fpd. ive pulled the cap on the pd and have found nothing but still smell gas closer to the 2nd rotors injector. if i let it sit for more than two days i have to roll start it because it gets so flooded. anybody have anyidea if when the gromet goes bad if it will cause this or how to check injectors. also what the part number on the na primarys i have six or seven at my house havent pulled the one off of there yet to see if any of them match up

I would pull all of the injectors and send them out to be cleaned www.rceng.com or wherever. Replace all of the rubber on the injectors when you reinstall. The grommet, orings etc.
Then see if that clears it up.

Series four non turbo numbers end with -1350

Are you sure don't have the charcoal canister removed and are actually smelling the fuel vapor coming out of one of the lines that went to it?

I don't think it would be a fuel injector grommet since when the engine is running there is vacuum on them. As in sucking to the rotors intake stroke.

yea the canister is gone but ill plug the hose and still get the smell. i pulled the clip off and tried hooking in the other ones but thats a no go on had a slit in the niddle and the ones that are on it had a slit on the right side if your looking at it. it was to dark to see the numbers on it but the ones i had were ending in 2250 and the other ones were a darker red 1320 or something. pretty sure there t2 injectors.
