So today i went for a drive since i have had the car i have driven it once before because there is still a few problems like i cant get it to idle (did everything everyone said still no luck) jumps from 1500-1800. drives smooth though
Bov does not work for crap took it apart and tried everything to fix it just wont work....
And when i open the door my charge battery light comes on and sometimes windshield washer fluid.. i think mine is broken for good...
anyway today i was driving (i hate waiting it just looks so fun)and after i stepped on it for a little bit (mid way through 5th) i saw some sparks out the back...
pulled over opened the hood and 2 hoses were on FIRE
put them out waited and drove home checked the hoses and no holes no actual burns anything just kinda moist.
so i have no idea what happened my engine bay wasn't even hot. i put my hand like 3inch from turbo and nothing....
Was this a gas leak?
Its a 87 turbo 2 s5 manifold
s5 turbo
walbro 255 fuel pump
intake
exhaust is 2 1/4 turbo back no cats 1 resonator
block off plates
bov(does not work)
thats it that i know of..

Your PD may have failed or you could have a fuel line leaking. Either way, I would not drive the car until you fix the leak. Jump the fuel pump connector, and turn the key to 'ON'. This will pressurize the fuel system and give you a chance to find where it's coming from.

I did that and nothing happened couldnt see or hear a leak anywhere had like 12 lights set up all around it and everything.
Saterday im having it looked at i hope i find out what it is...
dang me for getting to excited..
