Fixed my rough idle
I had a shaky shifter and wasn't hitting the amount of boost I should have. Had to pull into the gas station and spend 20 bucks to fill it up. While waiting for the car to cool before cutting it off, I decided to pop the hood and "smell" things (I used to "smell" my old car, I found oil leaks before they got so bad that they'd be smoking). Drivers side of the car checked out ok, so I went over to passenger side. Smelled fine. But I heard this damn vacuum leak noise. So, moving around I found my problem. That damned little hose on the back of the intercooler had decided to leave it's place. Put it back on and the engine just purred. Pulled it back off and it ran rough. Back on it ran good. SWEET! Borrowed a set of visegrips and got the hose on farther than last time.
I had suspected bad wires (90K on stock wires probably isn't the best) or mixture, but was somewhat relieved for it to be something simple. Nobody thinks any harm could be done by that lil hose being loose for a short time do they?
