Fixed my hesitation!
Today i whent upto Robs shop to pay him for some 3rd gen coil wires, and ask about timing on a engine like mine. He said that on dyno's they have ran as much as 30* advance in a 2nd gen with all the bolt-ons/porting!! Around 32*, you start to loose some power he said. So i whent home and started advancing the timing, bumping it up little by little. After giving it all the advace i could, without removing the crank angle sensor, the motors hesitiation is gone! To be honest, i have no idea how much timing i'm running , but Rob said, as long as you don't hear any ping, it'll be fine. Then i whent out and wound the crap out of it several different times....i kinda feel bad, because the last 1.5 tanks, i've been realy beating on my car hard. Probably 40-50 runs from 2k in first gear, to 8k, shift into 2nd, 8k in 2nd and upto 6,500 in 3rd. I feel bad....normaly i drive it a little easier.....
I guess porting my lower manifold, finished TB mod, and the pineapple sleeves all at once must have realy made a huge difference in air flow, to cause the motor to want such a drastic change in timing!
Over all, i think the motor wants even more timing, but it was getting late, and very wet outside, so i called it a day. Maybe tomorow i'll tinker with it somemore. Later, CJ

n/a's LOVE to have their timing advanced once the mods start stacking up. I need to see if theres anything else to be had from the timing in my car.
