fixed but still not idling right!?

fixed but still not idling right!?

i changed my water thermo sensor or my coolant sensor cuz my car wasnt having a good chance cold starting and idling when cold... now it still wont idle cold or cold start very well? wats the problem? think its the BAC cuz i know mines gone

i know my car is hard to start because the start map doesn't work. You could check for voltage at the pin on the ecu if it is an s4 it should be around 10 volts when cranking.

it wasnt doing this before either even with my BAC unplugged cuz its bad it just started not too long ago....

does it run rich too? does it die if u let off gas when cold... to let u know it doesn't do this warm.

Yeah mine runs pretty rich and once it warms up it idles fine and runs good, but if it is cold it doesn't idle right. I have to kind of pump the gas while cranking to get it started.

Your TII is an 88? Im pretty sure the plugs on the s5 and s4 ecus are different.

uhh its an 88 but with an s5 jdm swap... im not sure on the harness though if he kept the stock 88 one or used diff one... but wat im askin is if an N/A ecu thats chipping work for a t2?

it is chipped by a company called JET PERFORMANCE... will an N/A ecu work for a t2 ne wayz?

With your swap its kinda hard tellin not knowing if the ecu would work since you don't know what harness you have im assuming you dont know what the ecu is. Either way i don't think you can swap ecus from different series or from na to turbo

I saw you were looking to buy an ecu, you need to pull up your carpet and find out what ecu you have b4 you wast money and time.

true... uhh o another problem its kinda hesitating at about 3k to about 3500k rpms wat do u think it is? injectors? it seems to do this only when cold.

any way
find out which ecu you have and start backprobing the ecu with a volt meter to make sure anything that sounds like it could cause a problem is within spec


also you might do a compression test if you haven't already. that could explain idling better after warming up
