Fitting a carb manifold to an S4 block?

Does anyone know whether or not a manifold originally from an S5 motor (carb conversion) will fit to an S4 motor. If it does, will it need modification (if so how much). And before the killer flames begin yes I know the pros and cons of EFI/Carb so please don't start a war here .

How many carb FC's are still around here anyway, and what kinda setup are you running?

Currently running an RB 650 Holley and manifold on an '86 NA 6 port. The set up is in a 1959 Austin Healey Sprite.

Sweet, thanks Latin. Do you have any other pics of your setup (with the 'top' on)...perhaps a sound clip.

Also how do you like your JayTech, I've heard some good things about these manifolds over the years and I'm curious.

Great to see there are a few guys using some old school tech on our 'old school' cars and having fun instead of worrying about numbers as much .

I'll post more pics asap. Also I do prefer the JayTech over the RB manilfod but be cautious as it has longer runners and thus the carb sits much higher hence no air cleaner seen in pics. I currently have Holley lowest profile air filter setup but still about 1/2 an inch too tall.

Koo, I'll be running that Mikuni we talked about (side draft like a webber) so top clearance won't be an issue. Then again I don't know if they even have a manifold that will fit a mikuni/webber side draft so I may not be able to use that anyway .

I'll find out this friday I suppose...
