Fit 225/50/16 in the front
Hey guys, did anyone get to fit 225/50/16 in the front of a FC with wheels that has the same factory 40mm offset? I am purchasing wheels, their offset is 40mm like the factory. I am wondering if i can squeeze 225/50/16 in the front. I really dont want to run different tires between front and back for handling reason

I have 225/50 15's on right now and they are fine. You should be ok with 16's as well, although I've heard some people say you MIGHT rub a little, but I doubt it.

For some, 225 on the front will fit. For others, it will rub. For me, 225 will fit fine as long as I don't take the curb hard. Otherwise, the tire will rub against the spring. If 225 works for you, be happy...

Here are my current choices
Kuhmo 712
Yokohama AVS Inter
Dunlop SP8000
I am currently thinking about the Kuhmos because they seem to last hte longest out of the 3. I am pretty sure the Dunlops wont fit, they always make wider tires than tehy claim.
Oh yeah, what do you thinks think of those 5 spoke Supra wheels that came off 91-92. My friend has a mint set that he wants to sell for 500 bucks. I think it fits the FC
