First Gen Hood question
Short answer is NO
I love the FB hood because it makes it so easy to work on the car but i can almost guarantee there is no provision on our chasis to bolt those on. We don't have the proper hood latch or space provided for ours to pivot in that direction.
Go think up something thats plausible

He asked if they could be used to flip it forward, the short answer IS no.
The long answer is always, if you have the money, will, capacity, and time YES.
Nothing is impossible given the resources and ability to implement

EDIT
what would you need?
reinforce the front end
get hinges......
weld in some supports for the hood ( remember that there the part supporting the whole hood would be smaller than stock)
then redo the lines so you can pop the hood
in the end what would you gain besides being unique?
