fire extinguisher placement

hey, i picked up a little extinguisher after reading so much about pd failure and was wondering on positions to place it. it has its own little clip mount and was thinking about against the back of the trunk space(ive got a vert) but then i saw nzconvetibles pics of his jap import vert and he seems to have one mounted around the passenger kick pannel area... any suggestions?

Where everyone can see it usually works best.

Mine's attached to the back of the passenger seat. Way down at the bottom below the rear deck level. I used Velcro tie straps through a couple of slits in the back.

Mine's secured to the passenger side kick-panel. You can see it in the pics in my sig link.

A fire extinguisher loose in the cabin is a bad idea. Crashing is bad enough without having a lump of steel flying around inside the cabin with you...

halon's the best- don't use chemical (pkp) extinguishers- the residue can be corrosive. If it doesn't go out w/ halon, it aint goin out...
