Finished Swap Wont Turn Over
Hey guys I just finished my S5TII swap into a 86 chassis and it wont turn over
. All the electronics seem to be working fine (with an exception of my temp gauge which immediatly goes high) Im not sure what the problem is, my only hunch would be a fault in the starter connections or a bad starter. I have a S5 turbo engine and i used my old S4 tranny(i dont know what my flywheel is but a local guru assured me it was the right one for my setup. Well thats all I can explain up to this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated

When I swapped in my TII, I accidently hooked a ground to the starter. When I went to crank, the engine wouldn't turn and the power dropped to about 5-6V. After fixing that and getting it running, I shut the car off, went to start it, and nothing. Turned out the wire from the ignition had fell off the starter. Maybe this will help.
normally you can jump the starter over manually with a wire or screw driver and assure the starter works and isnt siezed. It should have the 12v connected to it I believe then the ground comes in for it to turn over. Measure the 12V power at the starter to the cars chassis and make sure its there. Then if you bring in ground it should kick over. You could remove it and make sure it is working. Its not hard to just make a start button then you dont have to worry about what the car is doing.

Turbo starter won't fit on a n/a transmission. Bolt pattern is different. You be in Trouble with a capital T.
Is there the smallest chance you wrote down the flywheel part number?? It's embossed on the engine side of the flywheel. CAn't see it once installed.
