I bought my 87 n/a, motor was blown. Dropped in a 88 n/a motor and trans. Replaced the coil packs. Car started then died. Fixed vaccume leak. Put in higher impedence injectors( since 87 has lower impedence). The car had a dead battery since it sat for 3 months before I replaced the injectors. Replaced the battery. Starter was replaced 4 months ago. sparkPlugs were replaced. sparkPlug wires were replaced. Now when the car is in the on position I no longer hear the full pump running. I tested for spark there is no spark in the plugs, wires, or coil. Is it possible that all these things failed after 3 months of the car sitting??? It sat from june 17 untill last week. The car did start in june but did not run only ran for like 10 seconds then died. I am so confused and do not want to just replace coil, plugs, wires, fuel pump.... Any help would be apreciated.
