Looks freakin' sweet man, from one '91 owner to another. How many miles on it? What did you pay for it?

Wait a minute.

Thats a 91 and it has no rear wiper or sunroof?

I have never seen that before, not in 91, hell not in 90 except a GTUs.

How random, but good for you, lightweight!!

No rear wiper on my '91 either, but it has a sunroof. First time I have ever heard of a '91 without a sunroof...

it smokes kinda bad when i first start it up. it quits though after it warms up and its fine. i assumed the coolant seals are going out. thats why i need to overhaul it i guess. it just doesnt feel like the power i should have. (masin, damn your 86 is fast...lol.) but yeah. any suggestions?

Err..neither of my 7's smoke on start up. Sorry. And, smoke pretty bad, is probably different from a "huff" of a slight left-over of oil and gas.

Is it cold? My RX-7 smokes quite a bit, till warmed up, when its very cold (but so are all the other cars on the road). Warm days or, warmed engine, a little "puff" for a second or two at most.

Thats normal for an rx7 to smoke at start up when its cold... smell the smoke and see if its gas, oil, or coolant... or just fill up the radiator, run the car for like 30 min left it cool down all the way and check if its still full... The car is cleannnn but automatic has to go

once again thanks for all of the comments. i got it for $4,500. its a great car. power everything works. lights, running lights, windows, power mirrors, coffee maker... cough i mean, er, the reading lights. its awesome. what all do i need to change over to the 5spd. i think the tranny, clutch and brake pedal, slave cylinder, lines, flywheel, driveshaft? differential? i dont really know that much about tranny swaps. oh yeah, i just put the Apexi exhaust on and it smells like its burning off the sealer that they coat them with. how much could i get everything for to do the tranny swap? i wanna unleash the seven with all its power, not through an automatic. lol.
