well its actually red, its about 2 shades brighter than Blaze Red, which is why it looks orange, in the shade its a nice rich bright red, and the cost....

5$ for a gallon of the paint, 15$ for the clear, and free spray since my dad and i sprayed it not bad for 20$

BTW: thanks bingoboy for posting the pics

Now all you need to do is turn your rims around the right way, and you'll be set.

New paint is damn nice isnt it. I just got my 89 vert done about 2 months ago, and I wash that ****** about every 3 days.

Super nice!

By the way, what size tires are you running. They look like 205/55-15 and not 205/60-15.

I've been searching for weeks trying to find an RX-7 with shorter tires to see how it looks. Does your car have lowering springs?

Thanks.

Nice Job ..
Actually, I notice that the Flame red color usually copy orange when taking pictures in the bright sunlight, or into the cars interior , and being in your area surely has a lot of sunlight , probablly pictures would look a lot deeper Red under a shady tree or just before dark .. nice job .. body looks real clean now ..

lol, i knew i was gonna get the backwards rim comment, it wasnt my fault, the tire shop did it when putting on the tires lol

The tires are actually 205-50-15, their Sumitomo HTR-200, and i have the stock suspension, although its probably sagging since the shocks are dead, which probably has my springs sagging a bit

man, the painted moldings really look good, is there any way I could paint my 87 GXL's white, or could I pull them off of a S5?

Yeah, what paint did you use? I am using "cheap" (by professional standards) paint and it is two hundred bucks a gallon!!

my dad scored a gallon of industrial enamel for 5$ at an auction, and im pretty sure that he got some more, i dont know if he got any more red like that, but i can check if anyone is interested in some paint.

mine has the stock S4 moldings, i just painted them, so you dont have to switch to S5, but the S5 moldings are a little more subtle, not as big as the S4.
