Finally done painting the front clip, check it out

The weather here has been kinda cold, so this wasnt the best time to be painting. Im in the process of installing my front mount intercooler, and the front clip was pretty nasty looking so i decided to take an extra week or so and clean it up. Heres what it look like before i stripped it down and sanded it:

Heres the paint booth i put together

And, heres the end result:

I didnt paint all the way to the edges of the quarter panel, wanted to leave the orignal paint and rust proofing intack in those spots. Plus, it wasnt worth the risk of the getting paint on the yellow exterior trying to paint something that will be hidden by the bumper.

I want one...

Think you could do a whole car in a booth like that? I've been thinking about using that I could drop plastic from the roof of my garage and make a lil room...

Looks good.

Love the paint booth. After powdercoating, I want to get some experience like this and paint some interior pieces.

Did you use a mask/fresh air pump, and exhaust fan to prevent inhalation?

I am very interested in seeing the inctercooler mounted. I have been thinking of running my piping like that instead of back around the motor.

i like the way those pipes are routed, all you have to do is enlarge 2 holes, there is not a lot of cutting
