Question What pedals give the best grip?

I have always had the stock pedal covers. The fancy blue and red pedals seemed tacky, but if my wet shoes grip them better, maybe I should look into them. Slipping off the brake while doing a double pedal downshift into 2nd can be embarrassing.
So, which work the best?

take the stock pads off and push thumb tacts through them. You might mess up your foot but they sure won't slip off. We used to do that on R/C car tires when they wore down.

Well the 4 screw type can slip around (the entire pedal, not gripping surface) sometimes dont they?
Ya know what I used to have on my bike pedals.
Screws
They where done so the thread comes out so you get grip. They had flat ends, but still a little rough and still have the threading. They sure did grip good and tore up your shins if you slipped the pedals.

Maybe you could just take off the rubber, get a drill and some screws and modify your stock pedal.
Countersink em if you're nit picky.

Get a flat smooth pedal. Now goto your local skateboard shop and buy the grip tape they use on the top of the boards. Apply to pedal. Cheap and highly effective.

grip tape!? your amazing! how did i not think of that? one thing though, if you get big pedals, (like cool CF Razo's) then its much easier to heel and toe, and in general, easier to do cool throttle tricks like that. they are like twice the size of the stock pedal. but hey, cant afford them right now, so im gonna go buy some grip tape!

If your shoe is wet it stands to reason that maybe its raining or atleast the roads are wet. With that in mind maybe you shouldn't be driving like your racing since the roads are wet and save if till your shoes are dry and the roads are dry.

Hey, it's more fun when the roads are wet, you can slide around in slow motion and your tires last longer.
Grip tape sounds like a great idea.

I got the bestest driving shoes. Swimming shoes from walmart. 6 bux, insane traction, and extremely light. Not to mention they are only as wide as your feet, so no goofing on the pedals

I have a pair in my bedroom w/ neon dinosaurs on them
You have a pair of swim fins too? (little inflatable turbs to go around your arms)

I've got the pedals on the link below. I like them a lot.

P.S. The attached picture is not of my car. The pedal set is custom made for each available application.

Sorry defylogic. I didn't notice your post until after I'd posted mine. I really like their stuff too.

P.S. I'll try to snap some pics of mine installed if anyone wants them, but it would look real similar to the pic I already posted with the exception of my black interior.
