Filling sub zero holes?

Just a quick question, my sub zero assis thing that goes on the manifold cracked in half! What do you guys say i should use to fill in the holes on the manifold?

I just used JB weld.....It was easy and looks great. Just make sure that if you use it, you do it properly, becasue if not there is a danger of it being sucked into the engine..

Not really. What do I make the plate out of and what do i cut it with? Never worked with metal before.

I use 1/8" SS sheet and cut it with a plasma cutter, finish the edges with a file and polish it in the vibratory tumbler.

Don't waste your time and money on a block off plate. As I did, remove the Valve and the double threaded rods. From there, use JB Weld to fill In the 2 little former holes. Wipe flush for neat appearance. Fini!

Do it properly with a blockoff plate. You can easily trace the bottom of the cold start valve onto a piece of 3mm steel, then cut out with a jig saw (use a coarse metal blade) and drill your holes. Remove the stud from the mounting boss and use M10 bolts to hold it on. Don't use a gasket (waste of money), but use some gasket maker goo instead.
