fiberglass fan shroud
I made this this weekend. Previously i had my fan sitting on my radiator. I got lazy and half assed the sanding but it will get the job done. A bit of bondo and more sanding would have made it look nice and smooth. I guess ill do that the next time the engine is out. It took 2 or 3 hours of me actually working on it (not including drying time for the resin and paint). If i would do this again (which i might b.c this one is a bit ugly) i would use 2 layers of fleece and no fiberglass mat. It would be plenty strong for this. That and i would cut the bottom flat when it was on my mold.

not bad, i would have made it more of a deep cone design so the airflow through the rad didn't make so much of a dead end on the backside, but yeah, not bad. Props for fabricating your own stuff!

I did not have enough clearance between my radiator and engine to make a really deep cone.
The shroud is not flat.
My camera is dieing. Note to self... taking a camera sport fishing and not having it in one of the lockers and getting caught out in a storm is a not good for the camera.
