FI 4 port NA

Just wondering if anyone here has built a fuel injected 4 port NA engine.

blah, why would you want to do that, I mean the point of the six ports is to make up for the lack of power in a N/A four port

Care to explain? Are you talking about stock port configurations only?

There is no lack of power in a N/A four port.

The point of the 6-port is to make the powerband even wider by having variable port runner area and variable port timing. Turbos don't need the 6-port system to have a wide powerband, they can just size the turbo as they see fit, so Mazda saved money and made all Turbo engines 4-port.

I wouldnt go so fast as to say to make up for a 6 port hp or saya 4 port has to be ported...I before i trully knew what i had my hands on had a 4 port in NA form with s5 turbo rotors non ported????? to this day i am still stumped as to what made that thing fast but it was..... all the lines for the turbo were blocked the 6 port manifold had some special adapter plate and other little tedious things here and there....wowsers

Stock yes, but beyond that 4 port kicks the 6 port engines ***..

And yes, alot of 4 port NAs run EFI. but probably not a whole lot of them here. maybe 10-20. Check the 1st gen section. You would probably have alot more luck.

A streetported 4 port engine will produce a lot more power than a streetported 6 port.
