A few questions electrical and engine

I did a lil search and wasn't sure what to look for exactly anyways here are my questions.

1. I see all this talk about a flash to pass light which one is it and how do i turn them on?
2. I read a RX engine burns a quart ever 1000 miles or so i fueled up today and it took 2 quarts. I drove 250 miles since last checked. What could cause this? If it helps at all i noticed when im on the gas cruising i hear a noise from the engine kinda like a the sound of car with an intake, the sound of it sucking air in. But its stock so im sure that isnt it. But topping off the oil did fix the crappy idle problem. Im running 10w-30.
3. Again on the FAQ thing i found the possible problem with my wipers. It only works on the constant motion setting but the slowest one. (if that makes since) It mentioned a relay needs to be replaced where might i find one?

If you recall I had one of the many threads about the crappy mileage. I figured i get about 15mpg and 200 miles per tank. Still gotta do a tune up, just working on figuring out what parts I need, as far as from a US to UK spec.

Thanks
Andy

The flash to pass lights are the ones that are directly above the turn signals on the front of the car. To turn them on, turn the hi-beam lights on and the headlights will shine through the lenses. If you would like to turn them into a daytime running light, look on Aaron Cake's website and follow the instructions.

Rotary engines use an oil injection system on them stock. They use the normal oil that you put into your car to lubricate various parts in the combustion chamber. Some people dump this system in favor of pre-mix. It is very possible depending on your driving to burn a quart of oil every 1000 miles, especially if you have leaking oil control rings. Even today, GM claims that a quart per 1000 miles is normal. Obviously the harder you run the car the more oil it's going to burn up. 2 quarts is pretty excessive though over 250 miles. Are you positive that the car isn't leaking oil from the pan or somewhere else on the engine?

If you're looking for a wiper relay, you can rebuild the one you have. Also, Icemark sells rebuilt ones on his website, and I'm sure Mazdatrix sells brand new units too. Just do a search about it and I guarentee you won't be short on threads concerning it.
