I've read you'll get the best sound you can from subwoofers by having them facing backward...
Will you keep those boxes black or you will cover them with carpet?

please god tell me those arent tvs going BEHIND the view of the passenger and driver?!?!?! so, what? are you gonna entertain the people driving behind you? that way they will be distracted when you brake and plow into the back of your car! i could understand a single moniter in the center console...... but in a 2 seater, thats all you can have....unless you put those gay sunvisor tvs in....... whats the point???????????????


on a side note.... good work on the center console.....looks clean........ but ditch the tv's

Thanks guys. The enclosures behind the seat are for speakers, and the subs are going to be in the back. the 7.5" screens are for the xbox thats going in, but i'm also putting a nine inch screen in the dash where the AC is, and move the AC to the glove box. Everything will be painted, but what you see is just black primer.

nah we just hold the RX-7 in real of SPORTS CAR for SPORTYNESS made to go fast and handle well not handle like a brick...bbXes(aka scion Xb's in the us) are for screens and XBOXES....i dunno it just seems like another one bites the dust....BUT BUT to each his own and i hope at least everything comes out clean! go to parties let everyone squint while they play xbox on the screens! good luck keep us updated though...

 

I thought the same thing about the screens being too small, but they are suprisingly clear. In a few years when we're done whoring it out as a show car, my friend and I are going to put a turbo'd 4 rotor out of his totaled 3rd gen and race it.

A totaled 3rd gen... FOUR rotor turbo... Pretty common setup. Probably only cost you a few hundred dollars.

he actually had nitrous in it before it was wrecked, but he sold most of his stuff to get a camaro. He only kept the engine because he couldn't get out of it what he put in.

 

He went from a 4-rotor FD with nitrous to a Camaro? Must be some Camaro...

 

haha, no, he never had a 4 rotor FD.

He's considering the swap though...

 

the guy that owns the 4 rotor is prob the same kid that blew his head gasket the other day.

 

he had the 4 rotor, with over $10k into it, and a drunk driver smashed into it. Insurance wouldn't pay for the mods, so he got a camaro.

 

a turbo 4 rotor swapped into an FD for only $10k?








as for the subwoofers and TVs, well...

 

Give us more info on the alleged "4 rotor"...
