a few general questions
I've owned 2 300ZX's and have decided that I am ready to purchase an RX-7 next !!
I have a few questions though....
1. If you lower an RX is the camber adjustable? - (the Z's need a camber correction kit)
2. What are the general weak points of the car? (If any )
3. Lets say i have an engine that is running well (looking for a TII) should a rebuild be done before something goes wrong (at a certain mileage) or should you wait for a seal or something to go then do a rebuild?
4. Generally how much are the engine parts and where is the best place to purchase.
5. Can someone who has recently done a rebuild list the prices for the seals, gaskets, rotors and housings and other general parts needed for a rebuild? (how much is a basic rebuild?)
Thanks for your help!!!

hmmm, u have seen the light my son. yet another convert from the ZX to the RX.
what put u off your ZX?
my Z was too heavy for me, and everything was 2 expensive for it. i know that ZX enthusiasts aren't happy 2 hear it, but there cars aren't really sports cars.
rotary rebuilds are cheaper than VG30DETT rebuilds. my mate is spending about $30,000AU on a full-on rebuild for his ZX. the fact that u have to spend that to get a quality nissan engine says it all for me. it *is* a show car tho i s'pose....
don't think that the camber is intrinsically adjustable on the FC, tho don't quote me on that. i wanted a camber kit for my ZX as well! 2 pricey 'eh?
the FC has passive rear wheel toe-in, or something like that, and that causes incredibly minor handling dilemnas. And it doesn't look as good as an FD. That would be its main problem IMHO.
check out aus300zx.com if u have time, it is a pretty good 300zx site.
here's a pic of my old ZX
nostalgia!
