FD steering wheel fit on FC?

Anyone know if the FD steering wheel will fit on an S4 TurboII steering wheel hub?

I can pick one up for pretty cheap and my stock wheel is crap, that's why I ask.

Beware de'airbags.... I don't know if anything special has to be set up or how you would even go about it, but in general I wouldn't put an airbag equipped steering wheel, and a non airbag equipped car...again I am not on expert on this but i would ask the people that are before purchasing it. Good luck!

I run an FD efini wheel on my car. They do fit on FC's, with a couple mods:

1) you have to shave a little bit off the back of the steering wheel...the material sticks back too far, and will hit the column cover. I took about 1/16" off mine.

2) you have to lose the turn signal cancel switch deal on the column. This is a white piece of plastic with a tab that gets inserted into the steering wheel. Due to the slight difference in the FD's wheel hub "offset" if you will, it won't fit properly, and must be removed. This means you must manually cancel your turnsignals.

I also have an FD steering wheel on my car. I only had to make a little custom spacer so the wheel would clear the steering surround and still be able to keep the cancel switch. So for RotaryResurrection... there's a much better way. ^_^

"custom" would indicate it isnt something you could just go buy as is......but something that'd have to be made/modified...
