FD LIM on a FC
First of all, would it even fit properly? I am putting the stock FD twins on my 89 GTUs. And I don't want to spend all that money on a spacer to clear the lower intake manifold....Couldn't I just get a lower and upper intake manifold from an FD and use that instead?

The FD LIM will not work on an FC. The TII LIM will fit and work on your n/a block, though, after some port matching. Then if you use the TII LIM you need the UIM/TB/etc. as well.

Yea if your getting the stock turbo setup for free, then go for it. Don't go out of your way and pay too much for it though.
Eh,, one last time, for the record, why doesn't the FD LIM manifold bolt up to a TII block? Bolt pattern is different, or the ports are in the wrong area?

The FD UIM bolts to the S5 FC LIM with some bolt-hole manipulation and portmatching.
I don't think the FD twins will bolt to the FC block w/ an FC LIM; due to clearance issues.
