Fd to Fc conversion

hey guys I was wondering if anyone has found a kit has ever been made to install a fd motor into a FC body . I just got a FD engine and want to install it into a 91 GTU body . Is there a kit or do I have to relocate the cross member ???

Any thought would be appreciated

almost not worth it from what I hear. It's actually much easier to fit the 13B-RE or the 20B into an FC. I think it has to do with the motor mount placement on the REW that makes it very difficult.

Not worth the time or effort. Sell it to one of the countless FD owner with blown motors and buy a 2 Rotor Cosmo (13B-RE). I think you'll find much better support for getting it working correctly than a FD motor. Plus you only lose a few HP by going with the -RE.

The "kit" is the least of your worries.
The motor will break all the rest of your non-turbo drivetrain.
Do you have a turbo drivetrain ready to install right now?

I believe that Speed Machine makes the engine mounts, but that is the least of concerns. There's still all the custom fab work required (intake, intercooler, exhaust) and the fuel system (standalone and required tuning). It's far from a simple swap, even if you have "bolt in" mounts.
