OK guys lets dump this boat. The new thread is clean of flamage and any other sour posting. Let thisone sink into the depths of the forum

Seriously TONY is a straight A+ guy. In no way should you all think he is not because of my idiotic posting. I just want you all to know that before people think otherwise. The FD alternator workd great after I rev to 2k and if I had the AWS still ont here it probably wouldn't have come up as an ISSUE for me.

Sorry, clearly from my above post I was overreacting. I just got excited about hIGGI's pulleys.

What do you think about that though? I think it should overdrive it just safely enough..

I actually think the stock v-belt pulley is underdriving the alternator (when it was originally using a serp belt)

Wheeh! No problem Santiago. I'm quick to respond when matters like this arise. We're alright. Without sounding like a sap, I take pride In any exchange I do with our forum members. This Is no exception. I've had quite a few responses In which they go on to state that starting up at Idle have generated 13-13.5V, myself Included - even after well over a year running this Alternator. The few reasons why I dismiss the FD Alternator to be a dud Is b'c I had seen It tested myself and also the mentioning of your previous Issues with your Charging System, respectively. You can't blame me for coming to terms with this. Please have your Charging System tested so you could gain a peace of mind and for whatever reason the FD Alternator Is not In optimal shape, I will gladly take It back to have It evaluated and corrected. No worries their. Just have them tested please.

Go Optima or Interstate. It'll only compliment the FD Alternator. Good night.

that looks like the stock diamiter man. It would need to be smaller than the stock pully to spin faster.

Who told you that, me?

I already stated I've seen it in person, and the diameter is smaller.

sqweet! now I just have to get one made for the FD alt and we are rolling

My battery tested out fine but their alternator machine didn't work or something so they told me to check back tommorow for that.

BTW has hIGGI confirmed that it IS smaller than stock?
