FD alt over charging

ok its been doing this for a while....i have the FD alt that was sold by silverrotor while back...problem is everything morning when i start the car the apexi turbo timer shows a battery voltage of 15.1V...usually i just turn the head light on and blast the blower and it'd drop with in 14.X V...but today its went to 15.6V when i started it up.....even with my battery draining techique it doesnt seem to fall below 15volts.....thing is...everything seems to go away once the engine sees normal tempature....is there something wrong with the alt....i dont want to fry the electronics if i can fix this now..thanks

Battery charging voltage can go up to 15.8 Volts with a Flooded Lead-Acid battery, with no harm to the battery. And 14.8 Volts with an AGM (optima). As far as the electronics in the car, I don't know what will damage them.
My figures are based on, out-of-vehicle battery charging units, and not neccesarily alternators.

EDIT: Usually your alternator puts out more voltage at start up to charge your battery from the starting drain. Possibly you have something hooked up wrong where you are drawing battery amperage while your car is off, and your alt is making up for it when you start it? Obviously this is just a suggestion as I do not know the history of your problem.

should never be over 15 volts... damage can occur to the electronics.

Sounds like the alt is missing the voltage in wire, or it is wired wrong

what do you mean by your battery draining technique? turning on the lights and fan when the car is running?

because if you mean otherwise...say going out and leaving the lights on for 10-15 minutes before starting it, that could be your problem - the alt. will put out the load that is demanded (to its limit obviously) so if your battery is quite low it will run the **** out of the alternator to bring the voltage back up

i turn the lights on AFTER the car is running....it brings the voltage down .1-.2 volts....

thing is...i wondered if i f-up the wiring as well...but seeing how it lowers the charges to 14.4 after the car warms up i dont see how the wiring is messed up......and this voltage increase over time...first it was 14.7 when i started it..then its 15.1 then its 15.6....imma check the battery with a voltmeter to see if its really at that voltage or its just the timer acting up..
