Well for one the clutch is alot different (pull type vs push type..)

No doubt the mount is different...

its possible, but i dont know the specifics... theres was one at my mechanics shop getting built, TII motor with FD tranny in a 1st gen.

not too mention that the tii and fd trannies have the same power potential, meaning the both will break around similar power output.

i have a s5 with an auto and i'm parting out the fd, so that means i have one either sell or use

sell the FD tranny and get a used TII. Besides 4th to 5th in a FD are really far apart. They're a little closer in an FC tranny. Make life easier and just got with the FC.
