Inital D Special Stage for PS2 has most if not all of the cars that are in the Arcade stages. You can NOT play your friends (Ie no 2 player mode) in the PS2 version. You can only race one another in times/ghost modes type deal. Other then that its Identical to the Arcade stage version 2 and has Extra tracks and cars, and the FC is definately in it.

You can also do the internet ranking system to get your times posted etc... the whole game is in Japanese, so you need a Imported PS2 or Modded one. Its a great game, definately my favorite racing one...

You can get at import websites..

I got my copy off of E-Bay for 30 dollars shipped to my door.

Enjoy.

Does the PS2 Initial D support the ilink cable like Battle Gear and Gran Turismo?

If so, I'd buy two copies just for that. =)

No it does not support multiplayer of any kind. So no iLink.... It makes sense from a marketing standpoint... They make boat loads of money from the arcade version.. and if people set up those nice GT 4 steering wheels pedals, and two TV/s PS2 there would be no need to pay 50c for the arcade version...

The game also does not feature the 900 degree turning radius that the new GT Steering wheel. It locks it into a compatability mode of 200 degrees etc. (Like an old wheel)

Its still just as addicting as the arcade version thats for sure.

I have both Tokyo Xtreme Racer 0, and Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3, you can make the FC really bad *** in Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3, with the RE Amemiya front facia, and hood with the head light converson, and also there's the BN sports rear bumper as well, i love that game

Hey wait till GT4 comes out!

Anyways i like the FC in Auto Modellista, it's not realistic b/c its supposed 2 b an arcadey game... but I can tweak the color to exact my car and stiff, body kits and what mnot, good game, handling is iffy butu get used to it.

yeah GT 4 should be nice, ive been playing the prologue version and its got tons of cars... I can't remember I don't think ive unlocked an FC yet...

but I have unlocked the FD, and RX-8... but we all knew those cars would be in there anways Im sure it will be in there, its not like they are going to NOT include some cars that were in GT 3.

It is extremely difficult to use the full 900 degree steering wheel on GT4... and the Rally stuff is even worse, your constantly spinning the wheel... I think they over did it.. as in not really realistic but over doing the over/under steering aspect...

I probbably just suck at the game too, but a friend of mine played it who was extremely good at GT3 (I personally never played it much) and he agreed with me on the steering wheel making it ALOT harder...

Also just a note ive unlocked about 100-150 cars id say in just the prologue version of GT4 alone... so the full version should be loaded...

So be ready for a challange.
