When they get old enough I think all the RX-7's and Z's will be collectable. I think when guys who grew up in the 80's and 90's will want them just like the older guys want the muscle cars now.

I have both my '88 vert and '85 300ZX insured under a collector's policy.

you said the 240z (2.4L)... but dont forget the big engine model, the 280z ( 2.8L)!!

you mean the newer model with the NASTY, HUGE bumpers. Not nearly as collectable as a 240Z, or even a 260z (which is still smog exempt in Kali).

You want a collectable Mazda?
Find a 1988 323 GT. Or a 1988-89 GTX without a sunroof. Or a later GTR/GTAe...

GTUs had turbo wheels, your car could very well be a GTU edit it seems you didnt know that their was a GTU and a GTUs model two totaly seperate models not to be confused with GTU's as in plural GTU cars.

Actually a vin check will only tell you if you have a turbo or non turbo... If you know the run of the GTUs then you can tell if you have a GTUs, but other than that it's just TII, N/A, or Vert...

DeaOU proves that any car is simply worth what someone is willing to pay for it. 9K is a chunk of change indeed. If an excellent 91 with average or somewhat low miles could capture 6K at most, then paying a 50% premium for very low miles and great shape is a decision I certainly would not make. However, the car looks cherry; enjoy every mile.
