Please, no flame wars. The original poster wants to know what you think, and likely doesn'tw ant to hear insults or smartass comments.

I agree that flame wars are unwanted and unnecessary, but he did all but ask for opinions. I would like to hear what other forum mebers personally thought of the conversion. Lets hear your non-flame opinions.

thanks for the opinions guys. i personally wanted to see if anyone did it already. i dont plan on doing it because of the down time of my FC would kill me. well if anyone ever finds pics of one post em up. i personally dont think it would look nice considering the truck s13 from formula D cut his tail lights in half and only used the top part of the lights. we have huge fat tail lights and i would never cut up mine. thanks everyone

Yeah, that does sound kinda odd. I would like to see one done just to say that I have. But i guess if you still had the fiberglass shell for the compartments in the back, you could make a rear window with lexan and lose the hatch. You could drop a lot of weight like that. Anyone have a link or pics of that s13?

I've seen a video where they did it to a skyline or atleast I think it was a skyline it looked kind of cool. turning your seven into a truck is one way to be different.

I've seen it done to a s13, skyline, and an 88 supra; all looks pretty nice. I have not seen an FC though, I'm tempted to make an FB mini truck, I'm sure it would be the 1st of its kind.

i think it would look weird.......if you have the time, money and fabbing abilities and a spare beater FC then do it.........i thought the skyline and S13's looked kinda cool.............I personally wouldn't do it because i prefer sleepers over showy cars ( look at me cars) nothing beats the face of a smug BMW owner as they are handed their *** by a beat up looking FC.....the only concerns I have are the structural stability of it.
how about someone photoshops one?

That really doesnt look too crazy. JuiceH is right, it does ressemble a convertable RX-7.
I wonder what the weight difference would be from the stock hatch glass, to the "truck version".
If it does remove a considerable amount of weight, it could be something that RX-7 drifters might consider.
Edit: Whats up with that wing???
