I pulled over and checked my slave and master cylinder fluid is fine and no leaks I pumped it up to pressure and then it went soft again my mate watched the slave work at the end when it had no go in the pedal I have no idea what could b wrong with it please help!!!

Don't forget the OE rubber hose if still used, but if it's been replaced by a SS unit, I'd then look into the clutch master cyl, but as the price is fairly inexpensive, I'd replace both master and slave.

Calm down there buddy, may be nothing more than air in the system. Please explain the above. So when you pumped it a few times, the pressure built up, and the clutch was disengaging? So you were able to change gears and start the car in gear? But after a while, the pedal is soft again and the clutch doesn't disengage anymore?

Did you just unbolt the slave and leave the hose attached and move it out of the way when you changed the clutch, or did you disconnect the hose? Did you maybe replace the fluid and let air in the system?

Sounds like air in the system. Did you bleed the slave?

Bleed it again..
they sometimes just don't "catch" and keep the air in until you least expect it..then BAM to the floor it goes.
I have done 6 clutches in 4 years(different cars)..2 of them would just **** you off.
One I drove in 2nd for 5 miles to get home.(lucky I was near the house..!)

Replace the master, hose and slave.

Have you lost fluid?
Is it leaking into the cabin maybe?
MC could be internally bypassing.

Just replace the master, hose and slave and be done with it.

Sounds like the master. Internally like clokker said. Just had this issue on my buddies wrangler. No visible leaks but while trying to bleed it I could here something odd and the where still bubbles in the fluid with nothing open.
